Helen's Deli is located in beautiful downtown St. Catharines, established in 1974, it has become a staple lunch spot for decades. Helen Pietrzak immigrated to Canada from Poland and brought with her a love of food and cooking. Opening her doors as one of the first delis in the city, shelves were stocked with imported delicacies, pastries, meats, cheeses, chocolates, cookies, teas, jams as well as skin and beauty products.
As years passed, Helens passion for cooking took over. Her authentic recipes brought with her from Poland and Germany were added to a lunch menu making Helens Delicatessen what it is today. Three generations later, we pride ourselves on keeping the recipes traditional and homemade. Come in and enjoy our salad bar, schnitzel on a bun, pierogies, cabbage rolls and much more.
